Biography:

I began working with Enterprise Vault since April of 2004 when I started with KVS in Technical Support. Over the years I held various positions in KVS, Veritas, and Symantec. I have worked as Enterprise Vault Support Tech Lead, Backline Support, Consultant, and as a Regional Product Manager. I have experience working with complex Enterprise Vault installations both domestic and international.

Ok, you don't need all those lines in there. Do you just have the one vault store called Express Vault Store? You can just have the one line to put the Vault Store in back up mode. If you run the script manually does it put EV in backup ...

So you need to check your backup scripts to make sure that partition is being put into backup mode and also taken out of backup mode properly. Can you post your scripts?

Honestly, if you can't configure it correctly why proceed? Wait until you can allocate the disks and then configure the cluster. Until then you could have EV installed on a warm stand-by and just fail over with USL.

I guess I don't know why you are using 4 accounts to run the tasks. Typically these task will run as the VSA. I think you might be confusing the system mailbox that each task needs with the account they should run under.
