It seems that portable HP PCs have default settings which put the PCs to sleep or in hibernation and it further seems that Altiris will show these PCs as not currently connected to the Deployment Server, but known to the Deployment Database. It also seems the Wake-up Power Contol is not recognized

I've found the same behaviour in some customer. Check if you a have resolution problem in Active Directory. it SEEMS related to some resolutoin ISSUE. if i'll find any further information i'll keep this thread updated

If you open the Symantec Management Agent and the Task Status tab shows that the task is running, then it is firing off the task.  The server may have an outdated task status sometimes.  At times it can be because you haven't used ...
