<p>I would like to use some custom data in the SD.Changemanagementsimplerequest form but If I put the custom data in the SD.Data I can not see it in the Project.</p>
<p>If I do the same steps to the Incident Management I can see the data</p>

<p>There is a way to show some categories to specific users.</p>
<p>I would like to have Hierarchy category (incident management) but show only some categories to some users.</p>
<p>Any idea about this situation. </p>

<p>I just installed Monitor Solution with the according monitor packs on my SMP 7.1 SP2. To any managed servers the monitor agent rolls out just fine and reports data.</p>
<p>On the SMP itself the Monitor Agent RMS is installed which seems to prevent the server itself to be monitored.</p>
<p>What do I need to do to also start monitoring also the SMP server?</p>

<p>I am attempting to install Service Desk 7.1 on a Windows 2008 R2 server with no internet connection for a test. I created an installation package on a Windows 2008 server with internet connection and copied it to the server with no internet connection. When I execute the installation package, it unzips into two folders (components and licenses) and tries to launch Symantec Installation Manager. I see a progress bar, but then nothing else. This also happens when I try to launch it manually from Start-> Programs. Is there anybody who has any suggestions about what the problem can be? I disabled McAfee, but that did not help.</p>

<p>I created a report to see wich MS Office executables are installed on our systems.</p>
<p>No problem so far, i get my information from the inv_Installed_File_Details joining the vcomputer view.<br />
The only problem i have is that the inv_Installed_File_Details is not up to date, not even after a full inventory.</p>
<p>For example after an uninstall of access from the office suit, and after doing a full inventory, a file inventory, the record of msaccess for this pc is not deleted from the database.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Anyone has a solution or explanation for this behavior?</p>

<p>I have a software policy that I have sent to all of my PCs. A handful of PCs have required manual remediation to get the update to run. Once the root problem was resolved, I used RAAD2 to rerun the program successfully. While the PC is now compliant, the Software Compliance by Managed Delivery report still shows these manually remediated PCs as non-compliant. I know I can add another schedule to the policy to get the entire policy to rerun for everyone, but I would prefer to selectively rerun the compliance check on just the PCs that I touched.</p>
<p>Is this do-able? Is there a better way to remediate individual computers so the policy reruns just on PCs where it is not compliant?</p>

<p>Hi I've hit a problem involving Symantec Installation Manager, SIM that I hope someone can help me with.</p>
<p>I attempted to update the server to the latest version of Symantec Management Platform, SP2, unfortunately it went wrong during the validation stage when it tried to install after downloading.</p>
<p>Subsequently I ran a rebuild on my installed copy of SMP. Which also initially went wrong but has since run without error.</p>
<p>My problem is now the SIM tool is no longer showing anything under the "View and Install Updates" and so I am unable to upgrade to the latest version of Symantec Management Platform. I believe the downloaded installation file that SIM would have originally downloaded is still present on the server.</p>
<p>Is there a way to run this upgrade without using SIM?</p>
<p>The version of SMP it is showing now is 7.1.5359 and the file it shows upder product listing is symantec.pl.xml.zip</p>
<p>I hope this makes sense.</p>
