http://www.symantec.com/connect/forums/installmaster-81-windows-7

Hi,

Can someone tell me whether Wise Installmaster 8.1 still works in Windows 7. Our company is planning on migrating to Win7somewhere in 2010 and asked me to investigate some of the older tools we are using.
I know it's already "ancient" software but it still meets our needs so I would greatly appreciate some feedback on this.

Thanks in advance,
Kind regards,
Chris

http://www.symantec.com/connect/forums/systemworks-keep-deleting-my-login-cookies

SystemWorks keep deleting my Login Cookies! I want it to stop deleting my cookies! I have already set everything I know of to stop it form doing this it seems to delete my cookies every week, or two weeks, or so. I mean when I go to any websites that I need to lg on, it no longer has my log in info and I have to manually put my use r name and password in, and that lasts until the next time it is deleted off my computer. This has been going on for a few years, but I had totally had enough!

I have been using Symantec/Norton products for many, many years. Please, that has got to be a way to make this stop.. I am ther only one that uses this computer, and this security insanity goes to far! It is insane and this paranoid programming needs ot let us samne people have normal settings.

Thanx..

please, what setting can I set to stop these programs from running amuck deleting my info?

I'm in the process of upgrading my EV 2007 SP4 Backend to 2008 SP3. There is however some testing that needs to be done, so I'm wanting to know what are the compatibility issues by using the EV 2008 SP3 Outlook client with a EV 2007 SP4 Backend?

http://www.symantec.com/connect/forums/custom-rules-program-using-vpn-connection

Hello all! I tried to do a search but most of the results seems like gibberish to a security-newbie like me, so here goes:

I've been trying to find a guide that I could follow to make some sort of rule for the program I most often use with my VPN-connection. I would like for the program to either get shut down (most likely not within NIS2010's power?) or preferably have NIS2010 stop or block all traffic from that program in case my VPN-connection dies all of a sudden.

Does a guide for this exist, would some kind soul mind writing me a quick guide as a response to this thread or is it just not possible for NIS2010 to do this? I have seen some guides for Comodo Internet Security that does just what I want, but I really don't want to go back to Comodo. :)

Thanks in advance, guys! :)
