Issues with "Create Appointment" and "Invite Attendee" components in WF 7

I'm working on a workflow that will allow a user to reserve a conference room by creating an appointment directly in that resource's calendar. So far, I have been able to create an appointment in my own calendar, but not that of the conference room. The conference room's calendar is set to automatically accept any requests, which is why I'm puzzled that it's not working. I'm a domain admin, so for now I'm using my own credentials to connect to AD/Exchange. Any guidance or best practice tips related to these two components would be greatly appreciated. - Thanks

What settings did you use to create the appt in your calendar?
I'm in the same boat but I'm not sure how to set the credentials, exchange Host, etc.

When you drag an AD/exchange
When you drag an AD/exchange component onto your workflow, new properties are added to the project (i.e AD Server, Admin account, etc...). I set these at the project level so I don't have to enter them each time I use an AD/Exchange component. The credentials used are pretty straight forward: AD Server-enter the IP address of you DC or server that hosts AD; AD server port-I leave this at 0; AD Domain Name-the domain on which the DC resides; ADDomainAdminUser and ADDomainAdminPassword- I'm a Domain admin so I just use mine for testing, but I would recommend some type of service account with Admin rights for live projects; Exchange host-Simply the name of your Exchange server.
As for getting these components to work, I've still had no luck. the closest I have come is with the "Create Appointment" component. I'm able to get it to create an appointment in my calendar, but after changing to my mail view, and back to my calendar, the appointment disappears. Very weird.

Not sure I follow. If you are referring to the calendar into which the appointment will be going, ie another user's, the admin account being used must have editor permissions for that user's calendar.
Ah gotcha.
Ok. My issue was with creating an appointment in a calendar residing in a public folder (which is where all our conf room calendars are). I am actually creating a component for that now. But I will also look at creating an appoint ment in another user's calendar & let you know what happens.

After opening a case with Symantec support, they did some testing and eventually got back to me and said that these components were not meant to be used with Exchange 2007. They did put in a feature request on my behalf but until that is realized it looks like these components will not work (correctly) with exchange 2007.
